Ananth Krishna Karmadharitaya (Vinay Rajkumar) and Nuzrath Fatima Baig (Latha Hegde) have only one thing in common — that they are law students. Both follow different faiths and belong to orthodox families with strong religious beliefs. While one might assume that these differences could pose the ever-common threat that new love faces, the bigger issue here is that this love is one-sided. Nuzrath does not share Ananthu’s feelings.
The two-part ways to meet again years later in court. While Ananthu is a hot-shot criminal lawyer, Nuzrath is posted as a judge at a family court. Then begins the courtroom game of words, of cases that are particularly chosen to cross paths and to impress. But issues at play include faith, as well as other interests.
